LI4 is one of the most widely used acupressure points in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Located on the hand, it is classically associated with the face, head, and supporting the body's defensive energy.
Where to find it
On the back of the hand, in the fleshy area between the thumb and index finger.
Bring your thumb and index finger together — the point is at the highest point of the muscle that bulges up.
How to apply acupressure

Apply pressure
Use the thumb of your opposite hand to apply firm, steady pressure. The sensation should feel like a dull ache or pressure — not sharp pain.

Hold for 30–60 seconds. Breathe slowly. Repeat on both hands.

Keep your breathing slow and steady throughout. Inhale and exhale deeply.
