GB21
Jianjing — Shoulder Well
GB21 is located on the top of the shoulder and is one of the most commonly held points for shoulder and neck tension. In TCM theory it is associated with the Gallbladder meridian and used to release tension that accumulates in the shoulders from stress and prolonged sitting.
Where to find it
On the top of the shoulder, midway between the base of the neck and the tip of the shoulder.
Pinch the top of your shoulder between thumb and index finger — GB21 is at the highest point of the trapezius muscle.
